I like going to them, but I draw the line at the lame baby shower games. I don't want to guess how big around the mom-to-be's tummy is. I don't care who can make up the most baby names from combining the mom and dad's names. And let's be honest, everyone looks ridiculous in a baby bonnet made from the wrapping paper bows. Let's just go, have some fun snacks, talk with the girls and look at the cute clothes everyone bought. Don't hold the guests captive by playing stupid games! Good question.

I love going to baby showers!! I love throwing baby showers!! I love buying baby gifts!! I love it all!!
I drive almost everyone in my family nuts because I love doing all that stuff. I helped with my sister's baby shower and several friends' baby showers. I love to create or try to create new baby games. That all being said, I am also ususally the first person called when they need help with baby showers.

There was like a baby boom in my town and everyone got pregnant....so i've been to live 4 in the last year so far....the only part i hate is sitting there while the mommy-to-be opens all the gifts and everyone says "awww" over and over again...

Is not that I hate them. Is just a waste of money. You buy stuff and in about one year they will be in the trash. So I think is better with the money buy the stuff you need for the baby instead of wasting it .

Once there, they're fun. It's the spirit of women together celbrating a new life and just keep the games away. Sometimes it the only time women can just visit and enjoy a few hours. Keep the time short and good food.
