If you have to ask us that question, the answer should be clear. My guess is that you don't even have a cause to die for. So live peacefully. We have enough people dying in this world as it is.

Both the things you have quoted in your question have its own importance.this is up to you to decide,whether you want a peaceful life(Most of the people like it).Or you can do the favour to a cause, may be for the your Country.That will be a very good cause but you can not say that tomorrow you are going to sacrifice your life for the sake of your country,as the circumstances has to decide it.

Die for a cause, the Apostles of Jesus Christ did. Only Jesus is worth it in this world. It is like the old west, sometimes you gotta stand up for what is right. I am not talking about doing violence, I am talking about doing good in spite of all the people that do bad.

If you live in the USA that's your choice. If you have any love for your freedom as well as others it would be well worth the cause to fight for that freedom even if it meant death.
