Get a Drivers permit and Licence. Get a gun licence and a licence to carry in public because I might work for highway patrol. To drink beer even though I probably will never want to do. Become a realestate agent or cop or architect how many years of college for that. And all of this in the state of NORTH CAROLINA.

The poster above is 100% right, except a permit to carry in public is pretty tough to get, and you'd need a much stronger justification than "I might want to work for highway patrol." So being old enough alone won't get you there.
