How does this work?

Like any 'barabaric' sacrifice -- I mean in the old testament they do this too, offering up animals and crops in an altar...-- this "son of god" is supposed to be the Ultimate sacrifice. So instead of just appeasing the gods or "God" with these petty, worldy "'offerings" the ante has become infintely More. Therefore infinte return.

Yes there is logic even in madness.

Jesus death bridged the chasm of sin between man and God. His resurrection signifies that even the grave could not hold or stop the power of God and that man can be reborn(washed clean of sin).Eternal life is man's already. it is simply a question of where you want to spend that eternity? Repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you are a shew in. Peace.

through a perception according to Bible.....first of all, u were born with ur own will to choose what best for you...second, Jesus shows u that if u believe in him from what u see if he've done..u shall be save..u shall be resurrected like him in that same way ,when u die and be able to live forever...
ya need to know Jesus by going to church and learn about him even though not all people in church will save cause some of 'em don't jesus' rules......so remember if u wanna make something finish well ,u should make some rules and live by them...

I'll try and make this brief, so stick with me honey :
In the old testament, peoples' sins were washed away by sacrificing a lamb (killing it and shedding it's blood). When Jesus came, he became that sacrificial lamb for us. He died for us, and shed his blood. By doing that, death has no more power over us(once we accept Jesus into our hearts). After accepting Jesus into our hearts, when we die we go to heaven and have eternal life.

Jesus took upon himself all of our sins. He was crucified and when he died he descended into Hell. On the third day, he rose again and ascended into Heaven. He paid for our sins so that whosoever believed in him would have eternal life in heaven, with Our Father.

I've heard it said that when he was on the cross he saw all of our faces and knew our sins.

It didn't physically. He died for their sins so they could have eternal life in heaven.

By a point system.

Another way is through indulgencies.

But in this case you have to pay money for them.
