Ocean drive is overpriced and the selection is pretentious. the biggest mall is sawgrass mills in broward county; it's the second largest tourist attraction in florida after orlando. it was an outlet mall and there are still outlets there but it's grown much larger.
south americans routinely go there to shop.
brandsmart is very cheap and they have a large selection (electronics). lots of south americans go there as well.

my wife loves adventura mall (very reasonable with good selections). the most exclusive/expensive mall in miami is bal harbour mall.

I love Sunset Place, Dadeland Mall, Dolphin Mall, Sawgrass Mills [Broward County], the Falls, Cocowalk, Aventura Mall, and just about every other mall around. But, my favorite is probably Sunset Place, if you don`t mind being surrounded by teenagers on weekends.

It has to be in Ocean Drive. There's SO many stores there that are great. Some stores are pretty affordable and others are kind of expensive. There's stuff for everybody, from babies, kids, teens and adults. OH! Great restaurants too.
