I love The Simpsons. I've watched it for years and it just keeps getting funnier and funnier. I believe the show's in its 16th or 17th season. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) One of the reasons The Simpsons has stayed on the air for so long is because it uses a lot of satire, meaning they poke fun at current events and various aspects of society. Plus its just really funny.

Yes they are. They've been on the air for bout 18 yrs !!! I'm waaaaaaay behind tho... They're prob still on the air cuz the fans keep on watching & as the yrs go by, they prob just get more fans :)
