I can not orgasm through masturbation. What's wrong with me. I am in my twenties and I have achieved orgasm through sex before. Can some people just never orgasm through masturbation?

I've done a bit of reading on this subject because I was with a girl who had the exact opposite problem. The thing is this: normally, it's the other way around. Most women have difficulty having orgasms through intercourse alone without clitoral stimulation. All the previous answers are good ones. Vibrators can help because they don't get tired and fumbly like fingers do. Another thing you can do is to try some lube so that the area isn't getting painful stimulation when you try it. Finally, I will agree with a previous answer and say that the most important thing you can do is explore yourself and see what feels the best to you and what seems to work the best. If clitoral stimulation isn't working, try vaginal stimulation, especially around the outermost parts, as they have the most nerve endings. For most people, if you can orgasm at all you can orgasm during masturbation. Just remember to relax and not concentrate TOO hard on "i have to get there, i have to get there". Just lay back and relax and enjoy the sensations and it should happen eventually.

It all depends on a womans body. I am a woman who can only achieve orgasm thru oral sex and/or the rubbing (direct stumulation) of my clitoris. But, I cannot have an orgasm only from penetration.
Nothing is wrong with you at all, think about it like this:
"Every woman has the same plumbing, but different wiring."
You must understand, whereas some woman love their nipples to be lightly touched, others like for them to be pinched. There is nothing wrong with you at all. You just have a different way to achieve an orgasm.

I think maybe you have to change your environment and let your mind be more free on fantasizing about sex.....Take the time to learn yourself and what makes yourself feel good and concentrate on those areas.....Maybe even buy a book with some fantasy sex stories and masturbate while you read them...Good Luck!!!!!

it's cause you would never consider having sex with you if you weren't you already, because you wouldn't have sex with anyone like you. i wouldn't consider sex with you either. did your previous lovers pay you? maybe that would be why you achieved orgasm then .....
