Stopping programs from re-starting again?

How come when I go to msconfig then startup programs and uncheck them all they will start up again a few days later?

Try downloading a registry cleaner from limewire. Also, run spybot and adaware. Spybot has a utility that lets you see more programs that load on startup than msconfig

If they are some spyware types of programs they will start up on the next reboot. If you list the programs in question I can give you an explanation.
