my tahoe lacks power when the a/c is on any ideas?

A/C drains power off engine. TURN
A/C OFF FOR MORE POWER!!!!!

Either turn it off and roll down the windows or stomp on the gas. Most vehicles temporarily turn off the compressor when the gas is pressed hard enough.

When you turn the a/c on you are engaging the compressor clutch, which will make the engine work harder. This will also compromise fuel economy as well. This is normal.
