Dear Friend, I analyse the situation that got me down, then I think of the reason why I am feeling down and give it a name, for example, ashamed, embarrased, angry at myself, and then I think of what can I do to turn this bad "down" feeling to the opposite "Good" and uplifted...Life is very hard in this world, many people are cruel and without feelings but think of people that want to encourage you to keep going forward, the best thing in life is one day after the other, today is bad but tomorrow will get better. I was feeling down today because I had an interview that didn't go well, but in spite of that I'm thinking that something better is stored for me....you need a pal, hit me up an e-mail..!!

When I feel down I simply take some money from my purse, go get a money order, put it in an envelope, address it to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and mail it off. I guarantee you'll feel a bit better about your current lot in life when you think of others in worse shape than you.

I am the less down time I have, and I am usually busy.

Try to find something or some one that will entertain you in some way or stop making you feeling down.

I'm not sure if you want to know what causes me to feel 'down', or what I do to feel 'better'. When I notice that my here and now experience of being isn't as joyous as I prefer, I remember that I let myself get into that state, and therfore am responsible to change it IF I WANT TO. (Some of us like ACTING like we are feeling 'down', because we get more attention that way.) Emotions are choice, not caused by anything outside of me. So, as soon as I recognize I'm not where I want to be, I change it, RIGHT HERE & RIGHT NOW! I can focus on being 'happy', (silly, peaceful, serene, ecstatic, in bliss, etc), HERE AND NOW because none of the mental crap that I thought was important even exists, Right Here, and Right NOW.

The thing that gets me down most often is thinking about my dog who died last year. I usually take a walk and think about how much fun I had with her and usually it makes me feel better.

You're either feeling the fur like covering on a young duck or you've torn into your duvet...
Either you have a duck fetish or you need a new duvet.
Hope that's stopped you feeling down.
