Nigeria has a good number of player in the european league yet they are not in the world cup

They didn´t do better in the African world cup qualifier group phase, yes indeed they have high class players but they luck a sense of copetitiveness in the national level, the inter milan striker obafibi MARTINS didn´t play most of the games since he fears that he might loose his place in the Milan side, you know the african games comes at the same time major european leagues are playing and not during a break period.
also the cameron, one of the best african teams is absent from the coming world cup.
hope the 4 new comers will show something, as an african, I do really doubt, they were lucky in the qualifiers...

They didn't win their group in qualifying. If they could've beaten Angola at Angola, Nigeria would've gotten 18 points, which is definetely enough to go to Germany.

Because they didn't win their group in Africa. They were even with Angola, but head-to-head they had a draw and a loss against Angola.

THEY DID NOT DO WELL ENOUGH IN THE AFRICAN QUALIFYING PROCESS. OTHER AFRICAN NATIONS, SUCH AS IVORY COAST, ALSO HAVE PLAYERS PLAYING FOR BIG-TIME EUROPEAN CLUBS SUCH AS CHELSEA AND ARSENAL.
