What kind of pants are they? If they are trouser cut, I would go with a grey or dark grey shirt. At any rate, your best bet would be to use soft, muted tones such as pastels.

depends on ur style. if ur a lil more bold and u wanna wear pink i'd say a hot pink. if u don't wanna be so bold and wanna wear pink wear a pastel color pink. other than that u can wear black, gray (like a heather gray), green, another shade of blue...most likely a dark blue. if u wanna stand out..wear an orange shirt with it because blue and orange are analogous colors (means they stand out against each other really well)

depends on the shades.. if they are more muted shades or bright... That would make a difference.. people wear pretty much all sorts of things.. but if you want to look pulled together then place the clothes on your bed and with a lot of lighting take a look at it.. does it look right to you? place the shoes that you will wear with it and see if that helps,, hurts or does not change the look... You should be able to see if it stands out and looks wrong.. if not.. ask a family member or friend that seems to have a good sense of color and fashion.. Hope this helps :)

Bright, overbearing colors such as hot pink or lime green seem as though they'd be a distraction, making one look like a walking neon, open sign. Stick with white, black, and more neutral tones that compliment the light blue. Enjoy your pants!!!

Go for the Madras look at Old Navy - plad is the new look and comes in many different colours. Gold colours are also in, if you want to look hot go gold.
Wear your pants and go try some new shirts on.

white is definately your best choice but if you can find anything that has the same color in the shirt, i.e. stripes would give you a nautical look, and remember you can always wear red and white with blue.

I wouldn't do pink. Then you'd look like a nursery. I agree with navy blue and black...brown might look nice too.
