Petsmart

Large Crickets - 10 cents each
Small Crickets - 8 cents each

You can also get them at Petco, not sure of price tho. I'm sure it is similar.

I would remove the locust asap. Try spraying water from a water bottle around the tank. not too much and only misted. It may be thirsty. Try another locust in a day or two. Ask the pet shop if they recommend feeding it something different to maybe spice up its life a little. In Australia we have Bird Eating Spiders which are a species of Tarantula and they eat small animals (eg. like pinky mice) in captivity as well as Insects.

Most likely a bait store will sell crickets, as well as many other tasteful creatures(for the spider). They usualy sell them by the ounce, but I've seen some that sell them by the pound.

I was once told by a die hard fisherman that if you dampen a slice of bread with water, sprinkle it with sugar and cover it lightly with a towel you will attract crickets. I don't know if this works as I've never tried it, but it's worth a try!

Most all petstores carry crickets. Just ask an employee, they're usually in a back area.
