This is just a general question. I believe we are different but all equal. I know someone who thinks he is superior than his wife because God created a man as image of himself. He's a man and his wife isn't therefore husband and his wife are not equal. I couldn't believe what I heard when he said that. He kept referring to Bible and nothing logical about his answer. So I was just wondering.

I think in this forum, you are going to have a hard time finding a man who thinks he is better than women. Philosophers are not noted for that.
You might actually get a better answer on a different section on the board, or at least find a male that would taunt you over the question.
You get good and bad in both genders. Robert A Heinlein wrote in the Puppet Masters that women had more range then men. Their bad was worse than men, their good was better. A little simplistic.
Both sides have trouble understanding eachother, and in a society where brute strength prevails, men usually have an edge. It negates rather quickly with a Smith and Wesson.
Case in point: Rambo Granny... (which is an urban legend, but funny as hell, and illustrates the point)

I'm a (Girl) and I'm telling you.
YES! Men are better than Women in some stuff.
And...
YES! Women are better than Men in some stuff.
They complete each other at some point.
Men and Women have different qualities and different features in which differs them from each other.
A Man is a Man.
And A Woman is a Woman.
Eventually they are EQUAL...
It's just people can't see that and when they do, they don't want to admit it.
They want to live with the fact that Women are better than Men or Men are better than Women.
These people LACK something in themselves or in their lives and not fully satisfied, that's why they create this vision of Man and Woman.
:)

No. We are created equal. And as a Christian I have to state that the Bible makes a charge regarding this. We are all the same at the foot of the cross.

I understand that men are better for things like Mathematics, Physics and similar sciences. Our brain has a better capacity to deal with these sciences. Women are better for Languages, Literature and similar

There's a moral to your question, don't listen to or have any truck with, God Botherers, they're all nuts. Jules, Australia. PS: Men are men and women are women.
