I think all free programs like that contain adware or spyware. That is why they are free. Good Luck with your search.

Have you tried Incredimail games, they are 60 minutes trial, but if you don't turn them off you can usually play them to the end.

They are great, I've had no problems with them and I've been playing for about 4 years now.

games.yahoo.com has parlor games and other card games. No Spyware.

They also have a game subscription service that lets you access older games and download. That costs a bit per month.

You can play with java applet games. they are simple but will take up your time.
You download them if you like them on their html page
