So I hate it when other women ask me (especially the ones in my family) about their man. Nine times out of ten yes baby honey love it is not going to work out if things are so bad already. My cousin's husband has threatened divorce 3 times and has had an excuse every time and she breaks out the bible to make him feel guilty for wanting to leave. Needless to say the fourth time he used another woman to get him out of the marriage and she FINALLY left him.To me, it's like hitting yourself in the head and wondering why you have a headache! Ladies let's wake up and use the extra little thing we have called INTUITION!!! Anyway my point...Is it bad that I don't sugar coat **** when I know it's a disaster waiting to happen? I think you should lay it out on the line and then be there to help after it ends , because you knew it was gonna, why prolong the inevitable!? Ok sorry , I'm done now.

Life is a pretty rough trip - and with the best of good intentions, things don't always go the way you thought they would (an understatement!) So, I think the only way to get to the bottom of things IS by laying the cards out on the table. However, a warning on this is that people don't or can't always appreciate where you are coming from; it's about being able to experience whatever is in front of them; some can't easily, and don't until it's right on top of them! And anyway, it never is a job for your opinions in other people's [or relatives] lives to give them the green light [or not] to evaluate for them, what they should or should not think - they are the ones within their own `yard' that should lay the cards on their table, if you get what I mean.
OK -hope I answered yr Q

Sounds to me like you had something to get off your chest. I'm sure it will all work out.
Being to-the-point is admirable, but sometimes it's a bit too strong. Some people just cannot handle the truth in its purest forms. Let the same intuitiveness that guides you so quickly and accurately to the root of the problem also be your decidor as to whether or not to "break it straight" to someone.
Personally, I like honesty and clarity, but sometimes I can deal without "blunt force trauma" and some just hate it altogether.

Some people only understand straight and direct. Now, I have been called brutally, painfully, and nasty honest. Maybe the first time I can be all right about it but after that I get straight to the point because they are wasting my time.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with that. It's a good thing to be honest with someone about something like that.
But you shouldn't do it to the extent where it would cause a problem where there isn't one. You should also be polite about it and concider the person's feelings. Sometimes, it's best to keep your mouth shut....but there ain't nothin' wrong with telling the truth!

It's good sometimes to tell it like it is, but sometimes words are better left unspoken. All depends on the situation, the person, & what needs to be said "or not"

Only serve it cold, if you eat it cold. The only thing about some people who tell it like it is-is that they tend to tell it like it is as it pertains to some one else and are not quite as eager to hear truth about themselves.
