Your cervix dialates first, about 10 inches. And as the baby comes out the skin in your vagina stretches. And there is one flap of skin that usually rips when the baby comes through. But you feel the ripping because the other pain is greater.

The baby has to pass throught your cervix first. While in labor, you start dilating, which means your cervix is softening and stretching to fit the baby's head and shoulders through. When you are at a 9, you are fully dilated so the baby can fit. Sometimes the baby's head or shoulders are still a little too big(depends on how big the baby is) some tearing can occur.

well your vagina becomes 10cm bigger around 4 inches and your babys skull is not fully connected. Thats why there is the "soft spot" ontop of the babys head. After the head comes out, the shoulders just kind of twist and turn with the help of the doctor until it slides all the way out.

It ain't easy. The cervix shortens and I believe the pelvic bones separate to some degree. The bones in the baby's head are not fused yet so it can do some squeezing. The baby also turns alot to fit through.

Your vaginal canal definately has to dialate fully first. That just means stretches. That's why during labor, doctors continuall check you to see how many centimeters you are dialated before you begin to push the baby out.

I have no idea, but if you ask me it will hurt, I can barely get a tampon in. How do they think I'm going to get a baby out?
