No! I`m an optician and it can cause an eye infection. Then you go to the eye doctor and he will tell you to take your contacts out for at least 2 weeks until the infection is gone. Seen this so many times it isn`t even funny. People use the bathroom in pools and clorine does kill some of the germs but not all. Had one kid come in our office and caught Herpes of the eye because he messed with the wrong person and rubbed his eye and bingo
you get to keep herpes like luggage. FOREVER!!!

I do, but I wear swimming goggles with mine. They are pretty cheap $5-10 and much easier to replace than contacts, er, well, unless you have a good supply at home.

I really don't think there is anything wrong with it, as long as you take them out soon and clean them. Chlorine and other chemicals will get back behind there and soak into your body. That can't be good. I don't swim with mine. For some reason the day after I do my eyes are really sore. So, I just take them out before practice and what not.

With swim goggles you definitely can! I've been a contact lens wearer who's swam with mine in and my goggles on many times in the last 24 years I've worn lenses.

Swim with contacts...yes but i wouldn't recommend diving with them. Always bring a back up pair of contacts or your glasses though because they can fall out.

No because if so the chemicals in your pool might get into them and i dont think you would want that and go though th process of getting contacts or they might fall out

I hated doing it and they tended to come out! It would be best if you could remove them before swimming.

well,if you don't plan to go under water then its ok but you'll get splashed and then you can't see because of hte contacts and they'll fall out under water and you'll obviuosly lose them unless ya where goggles..unless perscpription goggles exist
