There are so many! I know that My Redeemer Lives, Old Rugged Cross, I come to the Garden, Where No One Stands Alone, etc - but my all time favorite is My Saviour Dear - it is sung to the tune of Danny Boy - my father, who is Irish, used to sing that song to me when I was a child - so every time I hear or sing My Saviour Dear it sparks a precious memory and comforts my soul - all at the same time! What's yours

It is a toss up between two.
1. Amazing Grace - It is right for any mood and any religion and everyone's heard it.
2. This little light of mine - There is no way you can sing this song and not feel happy.

The Homecoming song. It's a old one.
I see the bright lights shine. It's just about home time. I can see my father standing at the door.....This world has been a wilderness. I'm ready for deliverance. I've never been this homesick before.

Amazing Grace.
Because of the back story, the writer had been the captain of a slave ship and felt remorse.
