No, faith is a belief in a higher spiritual being and the beliefs by which a person chooses to live their life. The "contest" is just what gets the most publicity, people who are true to their faith believe it with certainty and live it with modesty and grace, rather than use it for an excuse to hurt others.

Yes, but it does serve a purpose. Same as have opposing political parties, or different flavors of ice cream. The arguments about the differing views help make you smarter about what your view should be. If you didn't have discussion/arguments, forming ideas that you want to use in your life would be far more difficult.

NO! Jesus is the only TRUE and LIVING God! He is the only God who Died and was tortured for the remission of our sins! So tell me of any other "God's" out there who have ever done that?

God is God...many names, one being. Just like there's only one of you...one of me. Only different people who know me call me by other nick names. I go by many names, (i.e pookie, baby etc. etc. etc.) but I am still myself! It doesn't change who I am, no one could do that. Whatever the name I know he has blessed me in my life. Take care
