I hopefully will never stop to ask questions - and "why" or "what for" are very strong ones to find out about anything.
Why not put it the other way round and declare toddlers as beginner scientists...?

you should read what you right not alot of it is written write to make sence... as far as asking questions like why or why not it has nothing to do with idiocy at all those who dont ask questions like that in life are the idiots. questions help you get further in life help you succeed not the other way around, think about that before you ask a question like this again.

there is no age. there are certain processes that you need to ask why and what for, to come up with a logical answer. Look in to the Lean 6 Sigma program alot of maunufacturing plants use.
