just because you don't believe in it doesn't mean that other people do. Why should you be able to effect how other live there lives. If it doesn't effect your life why should you bother how others go about living theres.

If there is the free exercise clause (choosing what religion you are and the ability to follow it.) you should be able to choose who your life partner will be and have an equal right as everyone else. Thats what democracys are all about but america seem to have a tough time following are own rights.

Are you gay? If not what is the big deal... Would you prefer people just sneaking around all of time because they are gay.. I am married with 2 kids, if one them grows up to be gay should I disown them?

I mean think about it, how much is this really going to impact your life one way or another?

I for one have enough of my own problems to be concerned about!!

I am in MN (minnesota) and there are a lot of gay people here. Our larger employers have medical benefits for gay people who live togather for longer than 6 months. I could care less. How is it going to affect us? Its not. The whole hoopla is about the principle of it, and of course the bible. Well life is a whole lot different now than it was thousands of years ago. Think about how the bible would be written if god was here today.

Would that be KY jelly? Very appropriate to your question. To answer your question, I think homosexuality in all its forms is an abomination. Jules, Australia.

If gays want to marry, why would anyone want to prevent that? Why does anyone care?

The whole "marriage is under attack" argument doesn't even make sense. Who's marriage is under attack?

People can't help if they have feelings for the same sex it just happens let them do it. Its not really hurting anyone else let them be happy and let them enjoy getting married just like all straight people do!!
