I have a boat, a car, and a van for work purposes. The car is only good for travel, the van for work and the boat for water. In one car, the fuel all year adds upto more than my electricity all year. I am Not Whining, I am realistic. It is not only economically over priced...but un-necassary when we have water run cars already made!

No. It costs what the market demands. If you don't like the price, use less. The only reason you will say you can't is that you like your life of convenience. But if you really thought about it and cared enough, there are plenty of ways that you could not spend as much money on fuel. Don't whine.
It's also been recently noticed that the cost of energy (including fuel and ac/heating) as a portion of the average family budget is actually considerably less than it used to be 20 years ago.

yes, but we have no choice it prices keep going up because of the supply. Also because of price gauging, but it will only get higher since we are going to run out of fossil fuels at this rate in 50 to 75 years and thats being generous. Although I did see a news report with a man who has patend his water engine. He said he was able to trail 100 miles on 4 ounces of water. If you do that math thats 3200 miles per gallon.

Accept it and move on. There are many forms of transportation,
just think if people car pool more, use less gas,and less pollution. oh! Don't forget the great roads they are building from the taxes on the sale of gas.

I heard, charge10 dollars a gallon. Then give the truckers a break, All gas hogs have to pay a huge fine of 1000 dollars. Rebates for using public transportation, buying bikes and horses.
even better give it (the public transportation and bikes) away for free.

Just kidding, It is cutting into my budget big time.

I read an article about an old man, he was recalling that when he was young gas was 20 cents a gallon and he got paid 2 dollars a day. My father in-law said gas was 40 cents a gallon when he was young and he got paid 4 dollars a day. Do the math. By those figures gas today is cheap, it should be around 5.50 a gallon.

In Hawaii the state government has CAPPED the price so it can't go higher than like $2 a gallon. That's crazy.

well,i wouldn't say way too expensive.here its like $2.85,when it hits $5.00 then it is.
they should begin lowing the prices before they lose more money when people begin not paying which people do already...
