I loved it- it was a cartoon on BBC 1 in the 80s, retelling the Ulysses legend against a sci-fi background. Mindblowing!

Almost as mindblowing is the way I can't find any information about it on the internet. If anyone else feels the same heady nostalgia for the show and has leads on how to find out more about it so I can refresh my memory, please get in touch.

I'd give best answer for best lead, but seeing as this will probably be minority response again, you may find yourself getting the ten just for anything you write! And, then again, you might not...

Man! My mind has tricked me... I could have sworn it was 2000, not 31... but there it is before me...

Yes, but it was called Ulysses 31 and not 2000. I never gotten the chance to see the entire series in the US due to bad ratings in which it was cancelled. It was originally a 52 episode adventure but they reduced it to 26. I hope this helps you. Plus the sources of where I found the information.

I'd forgotten just how many cartoons there were throughout the decade, some with great story lines compared to those of today.
