Friends with benefits are people that you consider a friend and the benefit is having sex with that person. One things needs to be clear about friends with benefits is that both parties should be honest and upfront from the beginning. When you have sex with someone for awhile feelings start to show which can lead to some problems if one of the other people doesn't feel the same.

Being friends-with-benefits just means that you have a friend, whom you are not dating or in another type of relationship with, and that you can have sex with them without worrying about relationship stuff or getting tied down.
I've just got into an arrangement like this myself, so I'm not widely experienced, but it seems a lot better than a traditional relationship so far. The pressure and fear of commitment and of the future aren't there. It's casual, friendly, and very satisfying. I really like the fact that I can be myself and don't have to try to impress him or win his favor.
Friends-with-benefits may not work for everyone, but I would definitely recommend giving it a try at least once.

Benefits can refer to a S125 Health plan, a Roth IRA or a 401 (k).
Friends are friends the world over.
Friends with benefits have all of the above while being friends.
Plus sex.

Friends with Benefits are two close friends who casually have sex without any emotional commitment. Basicly, they are two people who have chosen to be just friends, but they still have sex with one another.
I don't really believe in this because I think that sexual intercoarse is for two people in a relationship that love one another.

Friends with benefits is having a girl/boy friend but only for sexual stuff, no love or anything and not a relationship and no people shouldn't have them, they may as well just be prostitutes/gigolos.

These are people no tin a relationship but sleep together for fun or so to speak. It may be a good idea depending on the friendship. I would take a close look at yourself before doing it because you could end up getting hurt and ruining the friendship.

From my experiences, I think friends with benefits is like a mirage. Just when you think you found something good, it disappears just like that because someone's feelings get the best of them. I always looked at FWB as one step above one night stands, except with a longer commitment. Things get pretty complicated pretty quick. I would avoid them.

a firned with benefits is prety much a pity **** friend.
When you have a bad day, go get laid, then you feel better, without the attachment or the commitment.
If you just broke up with your long term boyfriend, and you want to get some, you can run to this friend, get off, then leave.
They are good in some ways, but can cause problems. You never feel complete after using one, and you still feel empty after doing it.
I say if it is right for you, then have one, but they are not right for me:)

Friends with benefits are friends who mess around or have sex with each other; there is no commitment or expectations (i.e. "girlfriend" "boyfriend") It's more casual than anything else.
Friends with benefits can be tricky, if one wants more than the other, so be careful.
In my opinion, people can do whatever they want as long as they are willing to deal with the aftermath.

Friends with benefits are people with whom you have sex but don't want to have a relationship. Sex produces emotions. There's no way around that. One of you will generally end up getting hurt when you fool yourself into thinking it's going farther.
