What kind of jobs are you applying for. The apparance at an interview gives a better first impression and shows that you are willing to put the extra effort into your job. You may be over dressing in a tie and dress shirt, but you should still dress in a buisness or office-casuial dress to interviews. Are there other parts of the interview that could be costing you the job?

I know its hard, you feel rejected when they don't hire you.
But keep a positive attitude, be confident and pleasant during the interview. Remember the saying, "Dress for the job you want, not the job you have".
