Hey,

Of all the ports it stopped at, it sadly never stayed at it's home port in Liverpool. In those days, i'm not quite sure if they still do it, but they used to have the ship's name on the stern and the home port. so, the ship had:

TITANIC
Liverpool

The Titanic departed on it's fatal maiden voyage from Southampton, England, but it's port of registry was Liverpool, England.

Most UK-registered White Star vessels had Liverpool as their home port. 'Titanic' was built at Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Northern Ireland. After sea trials in the Irish Sea, she sailed directly to Southampton for her maiden voyage, never berthing at Liverpool
