My doctor told me to just listen to my body. If you are exercising and something hurts, then stop. If the exercising is causing increased bleeding then stop. Otherwise, just ease yourself back into it and don't put too much pressure on yourself. Your body has been through a lot and you need to respect that. Congratulations on your baby!

Well in all the books ive read and the sheets i was sent home with from the hospital they all said i should wait until after my 6 week checkup to start any vigorous exercise. I do recommand walking fter the third day you will feel a bit better just to get up an moving but just remember your perineium will be a bit sore unless you had a c section. The hosptial also recommended situps and kegals afer my first week home.

that depends on if you had a c-section or not. if not then when you feel up to it just start slow moderation is very important if you did have a c-section asking your doctor is important because it's different for each person. Breastfeeding is also a good way to help lose weight post-baby :)
