I have a boyfriend and he is very shy. He is scared to hug, hold hands or any of that stuff. How can i get him to hold hands or any of that stuff if he won't even hold my hand? I mean how are we going to kiss. am I going to have to wait untill i am 20.

Yes i have held his hand, and his friends forced him to hug me twice. I think he is just scared.

I also think i am his first girlfriend

Girl i had the same problem with my man an now he wont let me go.. all you have to do, is get him alone with just a few people that you both know and just make the first move and hold his hand, or grab his hand and put it around your waist (which is a half hug) and then he'll realize that there isnt anything wrong with holding you or hugging you or anything in public or private. An trust me girl he wont want to let go once he gets really comfortable

so u consider it a boyfriend girlfriend relationship because......?. the title? u agreed up on, like a treaty? don't mean to be rude it's just that, it's really hard for me to imagine that actually happening. from the first gf i've had, both of us couldn't kkep off each other... but i guess there's variety in this earth, well, maybe ur boyfriend is just not the affectionate type, or maybe he just needs time, he might feel overwhelmed by you, not sure but have u tried to kiss him or to touch him, maybe he will feel he has to reciprocate the love. let me know how it goes. You will have to determine if your liking for your guy is enough for you to `take on' his problem in this area. I think there's always a reason for extreme shyness, and if you could find out what that is/was, you just might open the door to the sort of relationship that is needed by you BOTH!

i however had a broken heart from the previous relationship.. and it took me 5 months before i could hold her hand in my new relationship.. i was afraid to be hurt again

You should wait until whenever he's ready. If you keep pressuring him to do things he doesn't want to do, you aren't being a good girlfriend to him. If you can't stand to wait and need someone to do those things to you, tell him. And if he still doesn't want to, than you need to find someone a little more willing.
