Cosa Rica is a huge underdog tomorrow - Germany will almost certainly win.

However, stranger things have happened in the World Cup. It's only one game, so an upset is possible. It's Germany's first game as the host this year, so if Costa Rica can get a lead, they might get the Germans nervous and play tight.

Look at the last World Cup. The U.S. nearly took out the Germans in the Quarterfinals. And the South Koreans defied all expectations in going so far in the tournament.

Good luck!

It would be kind of hard to bet against Germany. After all, who has the better World Cup History? Also, where are the two teams ranked relative to each other?

Good Luck, but it would be a tremendous upset if Costa Rica is able to pull it out.

Consider this -- there are 5 ways to score one or more points in American Football, but only way to score 1 point in soccer (if you consider penalty kicks equivalent to an actual scrimmage play). There's a lot of action in soccer that results in nothing -- the ball gets moved from one of the field to the other -- whereas in AF even if points aren't scored, the position on the field where one team relinquishes the ball to the other can be important to the outcome of the game. AF is a lot more complicated sport and I learn something new every time I watch it. As someone pointed out, AF is like violent chess.
