my lady friend took her 2nd dose of the morning after pill 3 hours too late (15 hours after the 1st). is this safe? is this still effective?

I don't think three hours would make that much difference. But have her contact the clinic where she got it just to be sure.

What the pills do is to prevent implantation...many women freak and don't even need the pill because they are usually just off their period or not ovulating...what I will say is (No)..this could possibly not prevent implantation but both of you need to sit down and figure out what her cycle was and when you had unprotected intercourse..

3 hours shouldnt make that big of a deal...it should still be effective
