Will the USA take group E and the Worldcup.?

Group E is wide open. Who will qualify.? Note: The USA has some favourite power. Will they use it.?

Everything can happen in the Worldcup... but c'mon... USA is not even one of the good teams, let alone of the favorites.... And you have awesome teams like Brazil 5 worldcups, can u believe that? U think the USA is able to beat something like that? Have you checked the Brazilian team? They are true athletes.... they are in excellent physical shape, GOd! Then you have Italy... three worldcups won.... and of course my personal favorite, since I'm from Argentina.... ARGENTINA!!!! We won 2 worldcups and the team is looking great, with the stunning result against Serbia, 6-0... and an excellent perfomance today vs. Holland... tough game, but the players are giving their best. And let's not forget about the Coach Pekerman.... he is doin a great job with the kids...
But welll... that's an overview about the best teams.... back to what you asked...: NO, I don't think USA will achieve anything great this worldcup... But let the best team wn!

If they do it wil be a miracle. Serously soccer is not a USA game like baseball and while the USA continues to promote the sport it's not catching on. Mind you, there are several USA players now playing for European clubs and as a result gaining the experience needed to be considered a World Cup contender. But they're a few years away. The South Americans and the Europeans are far superior. Will they take Group E ..NO Will they win the cup..HIGHLY UNLIKELY

Get real. They will not take group E, they may be very lucky if they make it to the second round. The World Cup? Maybe wait a year or 20 and USA stands a chance of coming close.

The USA is in the hardest group of the world cup. They won't even the make the next round. They might get lucky to get a win or draw against Ghana. Hopefully they will have learned from their mistakes.

Probably won't take the group, but we can get to the second round.

Not strong enough yet to be a serious contender for the Cup. But can't wait for the angst the rest of the world will go through when we win in a sport the rest of the world treats as THE sport when it's fourth or fifth in the US.

I have my doubts whether or not the US will even GET OUT of their group, let alone take the world cup but everything is possible in the world cup. I think in a few years from now the US will be among one of the good teams, if more people here would support it then it would be better for the team as well

NO. There is no way the USA will outperform Italy in Group E. In addition, although the USA has improved considerably, it still has some way to go before contemplating the world cup. Its a worthwhile dream though.

I Do not believe in pre speculating,, but I will say this,, USA may have som suprises for us yet,, IF U like the USA all u have to do is believe and maybe they will even if they dont get out of E they have still accomplised a lot just getting there..

No way, if they manage to qualify to the coming round that´s a plus for them.

I don´t think they have got the talent for that, the world cup isn´t the concacaf qualifiers, in the World cup they won´t play against teams like Guatimala, cuba, trinidad and tobago or Canada, it is much tougher in there...
