It depends on if you are picky about your genes. Top genes like mine go for $1000 a whack. I put myself through college that way. You also have to pay middle-man markup and standard doctor and hospital rates which can quadruple the cost of the seed or more. Also, women who are less acquainted with their body generally require several attempts before one takes, but all of that is peanuts compared with the $250,000-$500,000 cost of raising a child. In general, if you have to ask about the cost of insemination, you can't afford a kid.

OMG, if you were looking for serious answers, you've been out of luck so far! It seems that an average price is $500 per. But each case is different. You have to have bloodwork done a couple of times, plus one or two scans to see how your ovaries are responding to whatever medication you're on (that is, if you're using medication to stimulate your ovaries). Some specialists are cheaper than others, but $500 seems to be the average. If you need more monitoring, then of course it'll cost more. But it's definitely cheaper than the next step up (IVF).
