I have to write a very important paper in English for school, and I've chosen "Oscar Wilde" as a general subject because the writer, his life and his works fascinate me- especially his flamboyancy and unique sense of humor. I don't know what to narrow my subject down to, though, and I'm under time pressure. Does anyone have any ideas??

Sounds like you already have a pretty good grasp of your subject matter. Try narrowing it down to similarities amonst his works, maybe down to his 3 or 4 favorite themes, and use quotes to back it up. Depending on how indepth you have to go, that should give you between 5 to 30 pages. Good luck, I hope it isn't due too soon!

Narrow it down to the wit of Oscar Wilde. Give a little biography and then cite examples of his wit from his plays and some of the clever remarks he made in real life.

She said friggin narrow, people!! Geez! Just say he was an admirable gay figure that contributed much to the aesthetic movement. Gay both in the sense that he was flamboyant AND homosexual.
If you try to relate his works to this and choose only the facts that relate to it, you'll get an A. (No A+ 's here!)

Go with his witty writing. Make mention of the trials and tribulations of his own life, but focus on the writing, how frothy and funny it was, how everything always wrapped up neatly, etc., while his real life was in turmoil

You could do his entire life, but frankly, you are wise to focus on one thing.

He was a well known bisexual in England and was sent to prison because of it.
There's a movie about his life out it's called OSCAR I believe,it has Jude Law in it also.
