You should behave because people that have been through life right where you are now are using thier experience to tell you what to do. They know what is best for you.
If you behave, then you will turn out the way people want you to, later on in life. If you behave, other people will want to be around you, and will think nicely of you. If you behave, you will get through life easier and have less conflict.

You can get away with anything for a hot minute. Nothing will happen immediatly if you go through your day being loud and obnoxious and bothering people. You can do all types of things, but if you think that you are getting away with it, you are soooo totally wrong. Go ahead and learn the hard-way. No one ever forgets that stuff. It will come back to haunt you at the worst possible moment, like on a job interview, when you are trying to impress a girl or need some co-operation. The people you ff'd with will be happy to give it back to you in spades. The nicest, meekest most mild-mannered person will jump at the chance to screw up your game, if you did them like that. They are gonna be around forever, dude. Thats why. I am good to people and people are good to me and you might think that its corny, but its soooo much nicer that way.

I think you should have fun and enjoy life. If you're not enjoying it, change it. You know your limits. Trust your gut. But it depends on what you're talking about when you say "should I behave". There are ups and downs to every situation. And the one and only way to learn in life is from mistakes.
