Mine won't either.
Apple is stupid and doesnt' want people to "steal" music, so you can only listen to music that's on your iTunes.

Eithere ur ipods hooked up and u need to import the songs or u r burning a cd

You need to play the songs from your LIBRARY -- not off of your iPod itself. Click on Library and you will be able to play the songs.

Um what happens is when you download a song you need to keep it in a file, sometimes when you delete it, it will say need source to play. So delete the song and re download it, be sure to keep it.

That or its updatiing

You cannot use your iPod to transfer song to your computer unless it is in "disk use" mode. You also cannot listen to it through your computer. Sorry.

Its probobly cuz it's not in ur library, and im guessing u probobly have a PC, so thats proboly another reason why, cuz PCs SUCK!!!!!

because they should be in your library. I have the same problem too. i have a pc but maybe u can on macs!!!! GOOD LUCK
