Rhea was his mother, his father was Cronus/Cronos.
Rhea was the Titaness daughter of Uranus and of Gaia. She was sister to Cronus and mother to Demeter, Hades, Hera, Hestia, Poseidon, and Zeus. She was strongly associated with Cybele. In Roman mythology, she was Magna Mater deorum Idaea and identified with Ops.

Tough question. What was God's mom's name? Supposedly, all Zeus's bunch were descendants of the Titans....another bunch of gods who roamed around and fell out of grace with the people. Seems there is a big bird named after her, and I know it isn't emu. :-) I suppose this is an example of a god being nothing without a following ????

Gaea (or Gaia) was the mother of Cronos (and Rhea) and therefore Zeus' grandma (his grandad was called Uranus).

Rhea. She was married to Cronus and they were titains not gods. Weird thing is they were brother and sister as was Zues and Hera. Rhea of course was involved with overthrowing her husband. Its all a happy family.
