D. Paper. Why? Try to think in reverse on these types of questions. Milk is a LIQUID & it is used to made the cheese which is a SOLID. ........Wood is a SOLID, which is turned into a LIQUID to make paper!

It is D. paper - simply because paper is a generic product of processing wood. The generic term for desk is furniture. For pencil it is tool. And for pole it is .. i cant remember actually -

Another point to note is that wood does not actually require any processing to make paper, the bark of some trees can simply be peeled off an used for writing on straight away.
