I think he will be. And I also think that this is either going to make him a better passer or a bust. With the injury, if he is scared to take a hit it could ruin him. But on the other side, he will have to rely on his arm more and his release. Force him to perfect his mechanics. Not that he was really mobile before, just that he is less now.

Carson will be behind center on opening day. We may see some of him in pre-season, but he won't see many snaps. Coach Lewis won't risk him till he is at 100%. They do have some talent in there back-ups as far as Johnson and Wright. It's going to be a good season in the jungle !!!

He isn't now, but The Bengals are saying he will be. I think he will be a little rusty. He is young, so he'll heal quickly. Whether he will be the same Palmer is the question

i think he is almost there. he had a great season last year as a top quarterback, leading the previously 5-11 Bengals to a 1st place 11-5. He will carry his team as he continues to develop. there are things he still needs to learn. he does not have a lot of playoff experience, but he will most likely recieve action this year. he's also a great fantasy pick too.

Last I heard it was questionable as to whether or not he'd play this year. I think he will but it will be later in the season and the Bengals will suffer through a mediocre season without him.
