use alittle white vinager and a scrubby pad....but rinse well!!!!

The iron cleaner from Walmart is best. But one time, I was in a hurry. I let the iron get very hot on the dry setting. I took an old white pillowcase that I didn't mind staining and pressed at an angle to transfer the "brown stuff" onto the sheet. Then, let the iron cool and wipe with rubbing alcohol. Worked for me. Test on a white scrap first.

You can buy a tube of "iron cleaner" at Wal-Mart..etc. It is normally hanging on the hook on the shelf.. it is hard to find.. but it is very easy to use, and gets the job done.

When I was little, we would take a hot iron, and use salt on a piece of newspaper. Also, if I remember, they make a cleaner of sorts for that.

They sell little tubes of cleanser in the irons section at Wal-Mart.

Just a simple soapy steel wool pad does the trick. Don't use anything too abrasive.

Hi you take a sos pad and scrub it. Take a paper towel pore some rubbing alcohol on the paper towel and wipe away!!! :)
