I'm not trying to be racist- I'm from there.. But I've been to other countries and in those countries you actually *feel* sorry for the people there because they really are poor (they really don't have anything to eat) --> a lot of homeless people in california (i'm not saying America because I haven't been to each and every state) are homeless because they're either alcoholics or drug addicts or they're just plain lazy to get a job. so... why?

If you have lived here as long as I have the answer is apparent. we have always been the magnet for the easy life. Come to Sunny California and live the life you dreamed of. Well reality sets in after a while and bad habits drag you down quick. Drugs are plentiful and only benefit the dealer. Alcohol is readily available and after your dream begins to fall apart it provides the solace you think you need. Then the rent does not seem that important any more. Pretty soon you are collecting the cans for the refund value and pushing your shopping cart from recycling center to liquor store. We have a culture where everything is supposed to come to you easily. When it does not you see the results.

Well me as personal South Californian have almost no idea where you are coming from but, some people drop out of highschool when it gets tough and use alcohol and drugs to ease the pain. This causes drug addicts and alcoholism and since they don't have thier diploma they can't get a job

because this world is made up of all kinds thats lifes balance, i dont know why they dont want to work and try drugs and get hooked they may need to go to church and get prayed for so just pray for them ask GOD to help them dont really worry about why since the damage is already done just say how, how can i fix this how can we fix this major problem
