according to evolution yes, this is because the first homosapiens originated from the region that is now africa, and as the species expanded to different climates, that is when their appearances began to evolve to fit their environmental conditions. Another example of this is the eye shape of Asians and Natives of Alaska. Their smaller, thinner eyes are due to the fatty deposits in their eyelids to prevent their eyeballs from freezing....so yes, it's all due to evolution and expansion.

Yes, they did. Also their have been huge super volcanic
explosions that wiped out 90% of the human population.
Their were more diverse humans than now and it possibly reduced the population on Earth to just a few thousand people.
It erupted 74,000 years ago and was the largest eruption in the last 200,000 years. All races disend from these humans that were left.

Most likely, homoerectus first started leaving the African savanahs around 2 million years ago. It is generally believed homo sapiens developed from this line of hominids. Skin coloration had more to do with climate and UV sun rays therefore its not technically accurate to assume that whites evolved from blacks, that's too simplistic of a view on what most likely happened.

The white race offers no variants to establish the differences of the skin color's on earth. The black race has rays of colorful variations, thus supporting greater possibilities that man's beginnings started off black.

Yes, does that bother you?

The short answer is that humans came from Africa, and spread out over the world. Having dark skin is great when you live near the equator, since it helps prevent skin cancer, but is bad towards the poles, where the lack of sunlight during the winter causes vitamin D deficiency. Over time the Caucasian and Asian races formed, with pale skin that could absorb more light and produce enough vitamin D to avoid disease.

I think it has something to do with the amount of sun in different areas of the world. The more sun in an area, the darker people will be.

Yes. As our ancestors went north, they lost their need for intense skin pigmentation for sun protection & the noses became narrower, to warm their breath in cold winters.

All evidence points in that direction. I don't see what it has to do with anything. WE all share a common ancestor, as traced by mitochondrial DNA....the original "Eve."
