does anyone know the banjo brand Richwood? Is it any good? Are the USA-made?

I think Richwood are made in Korea. I haven't played one (and I play tenor, so know little about 5-strings).

It depends what model you have (or are thinking of) but there seem to be a number about. Had a brief look at two for sale in Wakefield

and they look nice, well balanced instruments from the pictures.
