I was raised on a farm. In the spring when the cows are eathing fresh new spring grass there do-do looks just like the green on this header. I guess that is why it looks so putrid to me.

Maybe you would call it chartreuse. I used to think chartreuse was a lovely word, until I realized it was yellow-green. However, yellow-green is also the color of spring foliage and peace, and maybe the color is Yahoo's way of calming down some of the emotions that seem pretty strong on this site at times.

I think its a nice natural bright spring green. If they changed it to fuschia or red, I'd be horrified.

After selling like that...I am not sure. Mine is a really cool almost lime green though.

They need to make it the color scheme for "Hot Dog Stand". You had to know Windows 3.1 to know how bad that really looked.
Ah, I have seen worse than this color scheme. Much worse. You can't please everybody...

To me, it says, "Hi there! I'm lime jello! Eat me!" Or "Hello, I'm a green lollipop! Suck me!"
