Dramatic Irony: The audience knows something the characters on stage do not know.

Examples: The audience knows Juliet has already married Romeo, but Lord Capulet and Count Paris do not.

Because what she is saying has an element which the reader/audience understands, but she doesn't know what it is yet. All she knows is that a name reflects not the person but only the; his name. She knows she oughtn't love him yet she does love him. The audience, however, knows that not only is this just a crush (See how Romeo goes from Rosaline to Juliet in one night) but that both Romeo and Juliet will die, and will resolve the argument with their death.(So, their death is the one moment they can be together. If the argument had been over before, they would have been able to be together properly. In their death there is a resolve. They could never have been together until death.)

dramatic irony in romeo and juliet would be how we know that juliet isn't dead that she is under a potion to make her appear dead and how romeo believes that she is dead.
