People tend to attack the asker instead of answering the question why do you think that is? Also isn't that one of the logical falsies.

Yes. I believe what you're talking about is ad hominem argument. Even if you don't agree with a question, you have no right to attack the asker or assume the question is for shock value. My stance is, "If you don't like the question, ignore it."

Some questions just rub people the wrong way, I guess, and cause a nasty answer to be shot back.
I found this out asking a legit question about the necessity of SUVs over minivans once awhile ago.

People like to assume that the question is about the asker, or more often they dont understand what the question is really about or dont read the entire question, and answer too quickly.
this usualy happens when you ask a good question or one who's subject is offensive.

i've wondered that too but it doesn't get me anywhere except infuriated (see my 360 page). why ? more than likely i will venture to say it's because that person is either a child or is lacking the proper information for a valid repsonse.

The best thing to do is not ask heated questions. I just don't ask any question what so ever. Cause everybody on this site just LOVES me.

yeah, people like to go fishing for fuel, insults and other things. i think people are too easily offended and hot headed to even come off to be intelligent. you know what i say, you take it how you want it. so they must want to get offended and sound ridiculous
