I think that gerrard or lampard are the best players although Beckham is by far the most influential player. And i think that joe cole could well become Englands no 1 diver for the next olympics.

Of all time i'd say Kevin Keegan, he did win 2 european footballer of the year awards on the trot. Best player today Steven Gerrard, still got a long way to go before he's a great thou..

Right now it's probably Stevie Gerrard, but sometimes he just doesn't shine for England, for Liverpool he is great though. When In form Lampard is good, so is Terry and Beckham is always good at swinging in a ball.
Best England player to date has to be Alan Shearer though.
And tim? Tom? Don't be so bitter mate, Man Utd just don't have it no more.

The best is Wayne Rooney because he plays for Manchester United, England is nothing without him, and he the best young player in the world.

I know who it's not ...Steven f**king Gerrard. He doesn't even come in the top 1000. Who ever said that stick to watching cricket or netball, or Desperate Housewives. But stay away from football ....You haven't a F**kin' clue.
