its not very peaceful because people go so far as to mow their lawn in the rain and are constantly making lots of noise waring with the earth hacking down every little thing that god plants and there is not much habitat and if you try to have wild flowers in the yard you get hurassing letters in the mail and they threatin you with jail time and 400$ fines so that means we are dependant on forgien energy and its the law to be they drive by my house and i just want a place for butterflys and rabbits and deer if i could git them but they want me to git rid of my privacy hedge when dr. franklin says love your neibor but dont cut down your hedge and that makes the earth warmer and im loseing my cooling effect and dirtier air quality more road noise and industry noise it eliminates migration routes and our biological filter strip and my hearts not into it to destroy the earth i belong to it im not here to destroy it so in a way that is really lawless cause there not caring about my first amendment or freedom of creativity there restricting my rights and freedoms and there hurassment is driving me batty i cant sleep at night its hogwash you know it and i know it they dont care if you have cancer in your family or you can take certain plants and make rootbeer out of it cause they have that mow head golf course mentality

Very peaceful, it seems we only get foxes stealing shoes, we're in a neighbourhood watch area and I've just read the latest newsletter.

the neighbourhood we live in now is pretty peaceful we live out in the country, but before we moved to the place we are living now, we lived in a really bad town... I worked at Dairy Queen and we had fights breaking out every other day in our parking lot... We had to call the cops several times, Carter County is one of the worst counties for drugs in Kentucky as well. Once when I was working a man came in with a woman and they were obviously high on something, she was bleeding from her nose, and he took her into the womens bathroom and took a needle and shot it into her heart. They didnt want us to call the cops, we were pretty sure the woman was overdosing on heroine. They stayed in the bathroom for about an hour... I could tell all kinds of stories about Carter County... There was this one guy who was a drunken perv who always came in and hit on all of the girls... One day he came in and ordered a hotdog, and he fell, then when he got his hotdog, he started to take off on his bike and fell down right beside our drive in sign, he layed there for like 10 minutes on the ground sideways eating his hotdog, then he got up went across the street whipped it out on the side of the road in mid daylight and in tons of traffic, and pee'd on the side of the road... we had to call the cops on that guy several times as well... I could go on and on about the place I used to live... Im sort of glad we got outta there.
Oh yeah and a neighbour of mine and I were looking up pedophiles on the Kentucky State Police website,,, it shows you their pics and their address... Come to find out my neighbour recognized one of the pedophiles, he worked downtown, and she had actually invited him in her home because they were remodeling their house and he worked for some type of lumber place, he was wanted for rape from a child less then twelve... she has a ten year old boy and my little girl was three at the time... It was pretty scary..... my neighbour had her locks changed and everything...
Who would have ever thought that a small town in Kentucky would have all that going on... It really opened my eyes to what is going on, even in small towns like the one we lived in. Its scary to think that your children cant be safe to play in their own front yard..
