If every event has a cause and effect, then every event is pre-determined. If every event is pre-determined, then your life is pre-determined, so do you have control or are you in the passenger seat?

Here is a theroy that need s to be heard.......its called the domino theroy.
If your life is a line of dominos some one had to place them all up in a line....and also had to make the design of how the line would move and since it is a line when the first domino was pushed every domino will fall after with out control of how they fall so move your hand and rember this theroy its not you doing it you where made to do every little thing...isnt that sad

somewhat. I just flipped back to answers and saw this question. Second or two either way and I wouldn't have seen it.
I don't like the pre-determined thing but who knows. I'd prefer to be the driver. (by the way, as fate would have it - I was putting some racing pictures on my blog. And though I wish I was, I wasn't in the driver's seat).

I believe in fate.Fate decided many things in our life.Why you can be a family with your parents and sisters/brothers?Why a stranger can become your friends?Why someone can become your lover?This is all fate.But i don't agree my life is already determined.God born us,but our future is in our own hand.We have the full right to decide or control our life.We are definitely not a passenger in our life.

You have control because with every situation there is a diff effect so no matter which way you choose it has already been thought out by God, its up to you to say ,okay I like this.

They can be interconnected and not pre-determined. "Pre-determined" suggests that something or someone has determined them and holds that knowledge. If it is set, it doesn't matter because no one knows what it set.

I believe that your life is pre-determined, but also that you can change that. You can change it based on being a sinner or saved.

I think you have a will of your own,That is God given.The choices are up to you.But God does allow certain things in your life to happen.Listen to God or he might just have to get his so called baseball bat out after you,So you will listen.God does know what is best for us alot more than we know ourseleves.

Yes! and it frustrates me all the time. Some poeple have it all, not necessarily deserving it, but they do. Fate is the only reasonable explanantion.

I think are lives are planned out for us. I believe we are here to learn a lesson, and after learning it, we die, only to come back again to learn another lesson.
