Come off it, stingking13. Do you think the 11 that start for the US are not passionate about the sport? Just because the nation as a whole isn't rabid about the sport doesn't mean the players on the field don't give it their all.

I can't see USA beating either the Czechs or Italy, so they won't get to play Brazil. The other team in their group is Ghana, so perhaps USA might get one win.

How is US a joke? They are ranked #5 for a reason, sure they have never made it past the quarterfinals but because the sport hasn't really hit mainstream America yet. Also, most times these competetions come they are not in or around US. So alot of the fan support is AGAINST the US.
